A small set of notes that exercise what Quartz 5 added when this site moved from v4. Everything in this folder carries test: true in its front matter and the #test tag, so it can be found, filtered out, or deleted as a group later.
What is being tested where
- Callouts, highlights, hidden comments, custom task markers, footnotes, block references, Mermaid, video embeds: Obsidian syntax showcase
- Citations with a BibTeX bibliography: CAP theorem reading list
- Encrypted page, hidden until unlocked: Private lab notebook (password:
quartz-lab)- Unlisted page: Unlisted page example is reachable only by this link
- Stealth page:
/lab/stealth-doorexists but is deliberately linked from nowhere- Obsidian Bases: System design notes as a table
- JSON Canvas: Site map canvas
- Stacked pages: click any of these links on a desktop and watch pages open side by side
- Comments, tag list, recent notes, breadcrumbs, reader mode: visible on every page, no demo needed
The features were also applied to real articles where they fit:
- Software Architecture Concepts got a summary callout and a collapsible reading guide
- Partition tolerance cites the CAP papers and exposes its definition as a block reference
- CP systems has a Mermaid quorum-write diagram and a warning callout
- Learning paths has a progress checklist with custom task markers
- Can You Have Too Much Courage? highlights its central sentence and hides an author note
- The WezTerm cheat sheet is now unlisted
